Consideration of the reappointment of Bill Gomory to the ACC Board of Trustees to another term.

Consideration of the reappointment of Genice Akins to the Mebane Board of Adjustment as the county’s extraterritorial jurisdicition (ETJ) member.

Consideration of the reappointments of Peter Dahl, Kelly Ronnow, and Lisa Wolff to the Recreation & Parks Commission.

Consideration of the reappointment of Charles Couch, Jr to the Village of Alamance Planning Board as an ETJ member.

Budget and Management Services recommends the Board approve and amend the General Fund to increase by $9,650.00, the State Allocation Fund to increase by $30,400.68, and approve and amend the Opioid Settlement Fund to increase by $127,500 and to allocate projects as listed.

Allow Southern Resource Advisors assist Alamance County in preparing and filing the FY24 SCAAP application. The application deadline is July 29, 2024.

Board will consider approval of a grant application for the Family Justice Center to apply for $450,000 for 48 months through the US Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women-Training and Services to End Abuse in Later Life Program. This grant does not require a match.

Request approval of the two attached contracts that provide funding for the Alamance Behavioral Health Center. These contracts have been reviewed by Alamance County’s Attorney and Vaya Health’s legal team.

The Board will consider approving a resolution authorizing the Budget Officer and Finance Officer to make all budget amendments, transfers and journal entries required to comply with the guidelines and regulations of the Local Government Commission and the State and Local Finance Division of the Department of Treasury and the North Carolina Fiscal Control Act in regards with year-end close out, fire and municipal districts and any General Accounting Standard Board statements.

The Town of Elon is requested the appointment of and removal of Review Officers. Similarly, the Alamance County Planning Department is requesting the appointment of two new Review Officers. This resolution is to appoint Isabel Cooper, Janet Moreno, and Mitchell Pinsky and to rescind Jenna Peterson as Review Officers within Alamance County.

Consideration of the appointment of an applicant to serve on the Mebane Planning Board as an ETJ Member. Applications were received from the following: Gale Pettiford and Tyler Whitley. The current term will expire on June 30, 2024 and only one applicant can be appointed.

The Budget Ordinances for FY24-25 are before the Board for adoption having fulfilled the legal requirements including conducting a public hearing. The Board of Commissioners will consider and adopt a budget for Alamance County Government for Fiscal Year 24-25.
