Items listed under Consent are generally of a routine nature. The Board may take action to approve/disapprove all items in a single vote. Any item may be withheld from a general action, to be discussed and voted upon separately at the discretion of the Board.

Approval of a resolution donating surplus vehicles from the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office to the Alamance Community (ACC) Law Enforcement program.

Commissioners will consider approval for the Sheriff’s Office to apply for, and budget if awarded, $13,731 in grant funding from the federal government’s Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant Program (JAG) to purchase equipment to efficiently process, scan and track all items in evidence to maintain audit integrity. No local matching funds are required. The Sheriff’s Office also requests approval to deem C&A Associates as a sole source provider. C&A is the inventor and owner of the PADtrax system which is not available from any other source.

Lindsay Ray, Chatham County Clerk to the Board and President of the NC Association of County Clerks will be here to discuss her President’s Initiative briefly.

Approval is requested for a bond reimbursement resolution for initial costs for Alamance Community College construction project with the expectation that the County will be reimbursed from proceeds of the next bond issuance.

The Tax Administrator requests that the Board receive his report on the 2023 Valuation of Lowe’s Home Improvement in Burlington.

The Board of Commissioners will receive a report and update on the mold remediation at the Alamance Burlington Schools.
