New PTRC Workforce Development Board – Randy Perkins, Kevin Szostak, & Derrick Byrd

Requesting consideration of the appointments of Randy Perkins, Kevin Szostak, and Derrick Byrd to the new PTRC Workforce Development Board.

Graham Planning & Zoning/ Graham Board of Adjustment ETJ Member- Charles “Chad” Huffine

Consideration of the reappointment of Charles Huffine to the Graham Planning & Zoning Board/Graham Board of Adjustment as the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction Member.

5.a.3

Recreation & Parks Commission- Mike Dunning & David Woody

Consideration of the reappointments of Mike Dunning & David Woody to another term on the Recreation & Parks Commission.

BUDGET AMENDMENTS

5.b.1

Budget Amendment-Lottery Funds

The Board will consider amending the Lottery Fund budget to reflect the return of funds leftover from completed capital projects in the amount of $227,204.66 as approved by the NC Department of Public Instruction. These lottery funds will be available for reallocation for future projects.

5.b.2

Budget Amendment-Year-End

To meet annual audit requirements, the Board will consider approval of the attached budget amendment to make normal year end budget adjustments and also authorize the Budget Officer to budget fire district and municipality tax receipts for the amount received as of June 30th.

6.b

Adoption of the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget Ordinance

The Budget Ordinance for FY23-24 is before the Board for adoption having fulfilled the legal requirements including the conducting of a public hearing. The Board of Commissioners will consider and adopt a budget for Alamance County Government for Fiscal Year 2023-24.
