Consideration of the appointment of Eric Crissman to the Justice Advisory Council as a Faith-Based Organization representative.

Consideration of the reappointment of Ann Riley-Caldwell to the Board of Health as the pharmacist representative.

Consideration of the appointment of Ricky Champion to the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council as a Juvenile Defense Attorney representative.

Consideration of the appointments of Clifton Carter and Ursula Evans to the Veterans Service Committee. 

The City of Mebane requested the appointment and removal of certain Review Officers. This resolution is to appoint Rachel Gaffney and Briana Perkins and to rescind Cy Stober, Audrey Vogel, and Montrena Hadley as Review Officers within Alamance County.

Alamance County LEPC, in conjunction with Alamance County Emergency Management, requests funding for a Full-Scale Hazardous Material exercise. The proposed exercise will involve local, regional, and state responders. Additionally, if approved, the exercise will follow HSEEP guidelines and fully meet the Federal HMEP funding requirements. This will be a $15,000.00 grant, no match required.

Board will consider approval of a grant application for $18,260.00 for Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) Program Supplement monies. Will require an additional application process in addition to the annual EMPG application. This is a matching grant program to be used for Emergency Management programs only. The grant requires a match that will be met by using current Emergency Management salary funds. No additional funding will be required.

Review of the contract and addendum between the County Landfill and Municipal Engineering, Inc. (MEI) for future, as-needed services and incidental projects for the Alamance County Solid Waste Program.

The Tourism Development Authority participates in a digital marketing revenue sharing program and wishes to use revenues they receive from this program to establish a scholarship fund for qualifying high school students wishing to seek further education in a tourism-related degree or certificate program.

Elsa Watts with Martin Starnes & Associates will present the County’s annual audit to the Board for Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2023.

Consideration of five members and two alternate members to the Alamance County Board of Adjustment. Applicants for consideration were received from Ray Cobb, Richard “Tom” King, Isaac Holt III, Michael Owens, Debra Hyder, Lindsey Causey, Max Morgan, and Henry Chandler.

Consideration of four appointments to the Alamance County Planning Board. Applications for reappointments were received from Amie Perkins, Sandy Ellington-Graves and Rodney Cheek. Applications for appointments were received from William Vines, Jr., Henry Chandler, Lee Isley, David Hadley, Catherine Dickens, Max Morgan, Michael Wilson, and Lindsey Causey.
