Consideration of the appointments of Deanna J. Tickle as Veterinarian representative and Ariam Diaz-Mathusek as Physician representative to the Board of Health. No other applications were received.

The Board will consider amending the General Fund to increase by $77,218 and the Emergency Telephone System Fund by $16,345.

Permission to Apply for the $20,000 NC Department of Military and Veterans Affairs Grant. North Carolina County Veterans Offices (CVOs) are invited to apply for funding to provide services to veterans. The NC Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (NC DMVA) Grant Program for County Veterans Offices (GPCVO) awards are made possible by nonrecurring funding by the North Carolina General Assembly under the provisions of Session Law 2023-134.

The Alamance County Department of Social Services requests approval of the attached contract that provides in-home aide and home management services for the care and safety of adults under a protective order. The contract has been reviewed by Loy Enterprises, Inc., DBA Always Best Care and the Alamance County Legal Department.

Interim Tax Collector requests Board authorization to advertise delinquent real property taxes at a fee of five dollars per parcel.
