Consideration of the re-appointment of Bonnie Whitaker to the Library Committee as representative for the City of Graham.

ACTA – Rural Operating Assistance Program Grant

The Board will consider approval to apply for the FY 24-25 Rural Operating Assistance Program (ROAP) Funding on behalf of ACTA. The Board will also consider approval of the Certified Statement, which designated the Finance Officer as administrator of the Rural Operating Assistance Program. The grant does not require a local match

Secondary Road Addition Resolution – Trevor’s Hunt Subdivision

Approval of the resolution approving the addition of the following secondary roads: Warfield Drive; Cinchester Court; and Chippenham Court to the Trevor’s Hunt Subdivision.

PRESENTATIONS/OTHER BUSINESS

7.a

Presentation - Youth Football and Youth Sports Programming - Jamie Merchel, Alamance Parks & Recreation Director

The board will hear an update from Alamance Parks staff on youth tackle football and youth athletics programming.

7.b

Resolution Authorizing the Use of Alternative Bidding Method - Brian Baker, Assistant County Manager

Review the proposed resolution authorizing the use of Construction Management at Risk bidding method for the construction Alamance County Courthouse Expansion.

7.c

2027 Revaluation Contract - County Manager York

In order to conduct a four-year schedule for revaluation, a contract is needed for the work to begin now with completion by 2027. Staff is recommending a full list and measure reappraisal for 2027.  The reappraisal contract is based on the number of parcels in Alamance County (approximately 76,000) and the staff needed to complete the process.
