Items listed under Consent are generally of a routine nature. The Board may take action to approve/disapprove all items in a single vote. Any item may be withheld from a general action, to be discussed and voted upon separately at the discretion of the Board.

The board will consider amending the personal health fee schedule to include fees for the updated (2023-2024) COVID-19 vaccine. Fees will be effective immediately upon approval.

The board will consider amending the personal health fee schedule to include respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine fees. Fees will be effective immediately upon approval by the Alamance County Board of Commissioners.

The board will consider amending the health department's budget to accept $312,131.00 in funding to support school health team workforce.

The board will consider amending the health department's budget to accept $10,000 in funding to support COVID-19 vaccination efforts.

The Board will consider approval to amend the FY 22-23 budget for a transfer of $356,400 to the ACC Capital Reserve Fund.

The Board will consider approval to apply for and budget $267,228 if awarded, the FY 24 Rural Operating Assistance Program (ROAP) Funding on behalf of ACTA. The Board will also consider approval of the Certified Statement, which designates the Finance Officer as administrator of the Rural Operating Assistance Program. The grant does not require a local match.

Modify the FY 22-23 Opioid Fund from a multi-year fund to an annual fund. Counties have been instructed to budget the funds on an annual basis. Funds will be budgeted as received per year instead of the total settlement amount.

Consideration of one appointment to the Library Committee. Applications for consideration were received from Kiah Glenn and Adan Orellana Alberto.

Dr. Larry Keen will present construction cost information for the Public Safety Training Center and the Main/Powell/Gee building projects. The Board will be asked to set the par amount for issuance.

Alamance Community College will present the Board with a request to allow all of the paygo allotment to be paid one time versus a monthly allocation. This would be effective in FY 23-24 and continue in future fiscal years.

October was first declared as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month in 1989. Since then, October has been a time to acknowledge domestic violence survivors and be a voice for its victims who lose their lives at the hands of their abusers. Request for Commissioners to declare October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Skye Sullivan, Family Justice Center, DVFRT Lead Agency, Corey Ellison, VAYA Health, DVFRT Co-Chair, and Linda Witherspoon, Family Abuse Services, DVFRT Co-Chair, will be here to deliver the first annual report from the Alamance County Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team.

Staff will present an update regarding options for the assessment of roofs and HVAC systems at ABSS and Alamance County buildings.
