Consideration of the reappointment of Ethan Raynor to the Burlington Planning and Zoning Commission as a full ETJ member. He previously served as an alternate.

Consideration of the reappointment of Meredith Edwards to the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team as a Community Representative.

Consideration of the reappointment of Gary Jackson to the Jury Commission.

Requesting consideration of the appointment of J Bradley “Brad” Moser to the new PTRC Workforce Development Board.

Consideration of the reappointments of Blair Robertson and John Leo Boswell to the Voluntary Agricultural District.

The board will consider amending the health department's budget to accept $32,000 in funding to resume group prenatal care services. No local match is required. No out-of-state travel is required.

The Board will consider approval of the Home and Community Care Block Grant (HCCBG) FY 2023-2024 Funding Plan for $1,230,914.00 in grant funds. Due to the timing of grant award information, the HCCBG amount and county match amount were only estimated in the FY 23-24 Adopted Budget. Based on the final grant allotment, the overall impact on the General Fund will be an increase of $49,244.00 in grant revenues and $2,811.00 in required County match funding.

The Board will consider approval for the Parks Department to apply for and budget $100,000 in grant funding from Impact Alamance. No County matching funds are required.

Skye Sullivan, Director of the Alamance County Family Justice Center, and Detra Betts, Executive Director of Family Abuse Services of Alamance County, Inc., will present on the Family Justice Center collaborative model and service delivery to victims of interpersonal violence by each agency. 

The Tax Administrator requests that the Board of County Commissioners issue the Order of Tax Collection to charge the Administrator to collect 2023 taxes, including the use of all statutory remedies.

The Tax Administrator has been asked to address recent citizen concerns regarding the value change by property type in the 2023 revaluation, as well as specific properties of concern.
